Hope you had an enjoyable weekend. We celebrated Easter on Sunday so our weekend was full of Easter celebrations. We started our Saturday morning up bright and early with an Easter egg hunt!
It was at a park and it was super windy so all of the eggs went to one area and Hudson and his pal Stella had a blast finding their eggs very easily.
We decided to warm up afterwards with breakfast at a local diner where I indulged in some hot chocolate.
Hudson enjoyed some sweet time with Stella’s older sister Kaitlyn who he is obsessed with.
When we got home we spent most of the playing and this Easter bunny got started filling eggs and making baskets.
I popped into Target for some last minute supplies where it was madness. People must be stepping up their Easter game, because all of the toy aisles were insanely packed.
I did spy something new in my Target. A craft aisle! Now you really can get everything at Target.
The rest of my day was spent getting my nails done and getting a massage with my sisters and mom! So much fun that I never even took out my phone to snap a photo!
On Sunday morning Hudson woke up to trail of cottontails aka cotton balls leading him to his Easter basket and some carrot crumbs since we had left the Easter bunny carrots last night before we went to bed.
After baskets we had to do a little baking because we were in charge of desserts for Easter.
The rest of the day was spent with Easter celebrations but we did try and take a family photo. We took a million shots and this was the best one! Oh well!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
