HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

Yay! Friday! It’s been one of those weeks where I felt like Friday was never going to come! You see this little face? TROUBLE! I thought Hudson was spirited! Nope, this little man takes the cake. Constantly trying to destroy my office when I’m trying to work. -Could have used one of these this week. […]

For a couple of months now I have seen these cute bracelets at random shops. They are always at the registers at Michaels and I’m always tempted, but I have never picked them up. That is until last week when I met my sister for dinner and she gave me one! I put it on […]

Treat Yo Self: Trrltz Bracelets

You know I love a good bar cart. Mainly because it’s a cute little perch to put stylish glasses, colorful straws and pretty drink bottles. They can be on the pricey side. I actually refurbished a vintage TV cart into my bar cart. I found it for $10 a thrift store and I saw potential! […]

Look for less: Bar Cart

On Saturday I popped into Old Navy with my sister. She was looking to pick up some things and I was along for the ride. That is until I ended up with a larger haul than her’s as we approached the fitting rooms. Typically Old Navy doesn’t fit my body type. Everything always looks cute […]

about me, weekend recap

Scenes from my weekend…

Kravet  is one of favorite showrooms. I was so excited to see an email this week that they are having a $10 outlet sale! There is a lot of the good, the bad and the ugly, but at $10 a yard make sure you sort through all of the pages. All 500 pages! There are […]

Treat Yo Self: $10 Kravet Sale!

This past weekend I was lucky enough to have a beach house out in Orient, NY. My super gracious clients weren’t going to be using it for the holiday weekend and they asked me if I wanted to bring my family out for the weekend. Isn’t that just the nicest thing?! I have a love/hate […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
