This pattern play is a little different because the client is actually me! I wanted to finish up my home office so I had a little fun going thru my fabric library and pick out some fabrics to finish up the space.
As you might have guessed my office already has a colorful vibe going on with it. I have a happy yellow desk and Chippendale chair along with a pink, purple and orange rug and some additional pops of cobalt and green.
Schumacher’s Butterfly fabric is perfect because it has all of my colors and helps blend them all together and show that they all work together. Plus it’s super happy and who doesn’t want to be happy in their office. I think I’m going to using it for my seat cushion.
The watercolor abstract fabric is tropic storm in molten by Robert Allen. I actually used it in my sister’s bedroom and I loved it and wanted it in my own home. I have an accent chair that needs to be recovered and it would look amazing in this!
I want to get new window treatments made in this lilac fabric. It’s actually broadcloth, which isn’t super thick but it is amazingly affordable. This one is only $1.99 a yard! So, it’s pretty easy to just have curtains made with a liner. I would also use my vintage caning ribbon for trim.
