A couple of weeks ago I learned about a new company called, Rockets of Awesome. It’s a company that curates boxes of clothing for kids! I’m normally not a fan of these type of subscription boxes, but I was really intrigued by this one. Hudson is super picky with clothes so I thought it would amazing for him to receive a cool box addressed to him filled with clothes personally selected for him. The boxes come 4 times a year and are filled with 11 items. You don’t have to pay any sort of styling fee. It’s literally free to sign up! No shipping fees and no return fees. Plus all of the items range in the $16-$36 price range so it’s pretty budget friendly.
Another cool part about the company is that they design the clothing themselves. So, when you give feedback about what you liked/disliked in the box they will take that into account when they design new clothing. Also if there is something you loved and you want in different colors or a bigger size you can go to their store section and order pieces individually.
I must admit Hudson’s wasn’t even interested in the clothes at first. He was obsessed with the inside of box and just wanted to color it in. Another cool perk to the box is that if you choose to purchase more than one piece you automatically get the most expensive item for free!
So, I filled out a questionnaire for Hudson and picked out his likes and dislikes and this is what was curated for him:
The box contained:
One light jacket
One hooded sweatshirt
3 t-shirts with a graphic
2 more dressed up t-shirts with buttons
2 pairs of pants. One patterned, one solid. No zippers
1 pair of skeleton socks
1 sports outfit: mesh shirt and mesh shorts
I thought everything was super cute, but didn’t love that they included t-shirts with buttons. I told them no buttons, but maybe they thought I was only referring to button down dress shirts. Hudson loved the sports outfit, but he is still deciding on everything else. He is super picky when it comes to clothes so I knew this would happen. You can keep the box for 5 days while you decide what you want to keep. If nothing works you can return everything!
I’m anxiously awaiting Asher’s box because he was pretty excited about all of the clothes in Hudson’s and wanted to keep everything.
Interested in checking it out for yourself? Head on over and sign up.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
