I love a good skirted chair. I think there is something so traditional and elegant about them that they really help elevate the design of a room. I really enjoy using them in a vanity or office/desk situation and when I found this beauty in blush I was inspired to design a little office nook or 2!

Here is my first take on the office nook:

I would cover the walls in chiang mai dragon wallpaper. I have adored it for years and I honestly never tire of it. It’s always a crowd favorite with clients as well, because both the males and females in the home tend to like it. Something about the dragons and flowers that just work!

How chic is this desk in the poppy colorway. I adore the shade of orange they used. It’s bold but not too bright.

Plus a plush rug that almost has a cable knit look to it.

Here is take 2:

I left the slipper chair and desk and then switched out the rest. I went a bit more feminine with this space and really played on the blush shade of the slipper chair.

I wanted to go tamer with the walls for this look and decided on this light blue sisal wallpaper.

The wallpaper adds a great amount of texture, but it needs a little something else to zhush it up a bit. Love these good luck elephant prints.

This rug really helps tie everything together in this look. It has the blush shade from the slipper chair, orange/poppy shade of the desk and peeks of blue like the wallpaper.

I can’t pick a favorite! I love both looks! Do you have a favorite?
