My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I just used the one on the upper left in my kitchen. The best part was that they were a return at Home Depot so I got them at half price.
I decided to go with authentic cement tiles after I ordered budget samples from Home Depot, Overstock and Floor & Decor. Honestly the larger , cheaper tiles in quality and artistry aren’t the same. As with laminate flooring; you get what you pay for. Another great budget idea for certain spaces though. Thanks
I’ve actually used a couple of the ones listed in projects and I have been happy with the quality and look. If you have the budget then I would totally die to use Popham Design cement tiles! Would love to see what you ended up getting!
This is old now, but I feel compelled to update my comment now that I have just bought a bunch of faux cement tiles from Home Depot for a summer home bathroom Reno. I did order a bunch of samples last year and they were definitely not the same quality as the true cement tiles I ended up using. But things have changed. Having used both I am just as happy with the faux tiles as I am with the real thing. Ill send you a picture once the summer bathroom is done. Sorrydoubting you!!
