I thought about what I was going to do this year for Thanksgiving for longer than probably needed. I just wasn’t getting inspired. Whenever I thought of it I kept going back to what I did last year, because I loved it so much, but I needed something new! Then I remembered a color block dress I saw on online somewhere that was a bold pink and a deep plum and inspiration hit me! I quickly decided that I wanted this years table to be a little more glam and dare I say it, sexy! So, out came the pink and plum and gold accents and then a last minute addition of leopard that made it all go, WOW!
Does one need to own a bold pink tablecloth? I think you must! Isn’t it amazing? I think the leopard runner, which I made with fabric from my fabric stash helps elevate the amazingness! I found a similar runner here.
Instead of doing a big floral display I decided to make a centerpiece with candles instead. I found these chic gold lanterns at Five Below! So random, right? These had been in the running before I found them. I also really liked these.

You know I love flowers so, I had to throw a couple of beauties into the mix. I grouped together some fall inspired mix of flowers to sprinkle throughout the table.
I picked up some gold chargers to glam up the table even more!
I made the easiest napkin rings with these fun tiered tassels that are on a hoop so, it was easy to slide the napkin thru.
Instead of traditional placecards I did something a little different and used gold stickers instead and placed guests initials at their place!
I zhushed up the table setting I bit more by wrapping the dinner plate with a pink and white striped ribbon. Is it needed? No, but is it fabulous? I say yes!
I even did a little additional station on the sideboard.
I tried to source everything from Amazon Prime so, that if you are inspired and want to tackle something similar for your Thanksgiving day table you can get it in time.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
