HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

Hi, My name is Camila and I have a problem buying pillows. Seriously! Many of the pillows in my home are custom made by my workroom, but I love when I find ready made pillows! Especially when they are at price points that I just can’t say no to! I recently found etsy shop, Decor […]

Gray & Glam Master Bathroom

neutral and glamorous bedroom design

I know I’m a color lover and as a decorator many clients come to me because they love color just as much as me, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy a neutral space where whites and creams take center stage. I always tell Jon that I wish we could have multiple houses so I […]

gold, pink, plum thanksgiving tablescape

I thought about what I was going to do this year for Thanksgiving for longer than probably needed. I just wasn’t getting inspired. Whenever I thought of it I kept going back to what I did last year, because I loved it so much, but I needed something new! Then I remembered a color block […]

Feminine & Glam One Bedroom Reveal

budget lighting round up

Time and time again I have clients that forget about their overhead lighting. To them it just doesn’t seem like a must have item to get a designer touch on. Furniture, yes. Paint color, yes, Window treatments, yes. But with lighting many are okay with leaving building grade and I’m telling you that lighting should […]

global glam entry way

This was a fun little style plan to put together. A client reached out to me and needed a game plan for how to tackle her foyer. It was pretty much a blank slate and she hated that it was the first thing people saw when they came in. Here is my suggestion: Save No. […]

Style Plan: Global Glam Entry Way

feminine bedroom style plan

I think I’m going to start making Wednesday’s all about Style Plan’s. Just a little glimpse into my design process and design style. Today we are tackling a master bedroom that wants to be feminine and floral, but not at all like Laura Ashley and dated. No. 1: This lucite four poster bed is a […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
