DIY POM POM BUNNY GARLAND
It’s the first day of Spring and we are set to have another snow storm tomorrow here in NY! Even though the weather is still chilly outside I have been trying to get into the spirit of spring indoors! I don’t typically decorate for holidays with Christmas being the exception, but once you have kids things change. My boys want me to decorate for every single holiday! I dropped the ball on St. Patricks day, but I’m not going to let that happen with Easter! The boys are obsessed with pom poms and loving going to the craft store to pick out yarn. So, last week we ventured out to find the perfect colors and get to work on making some bunny rear ends to make our own diy pom pom bunny garland.
Here is what you will need:
-1 sheet of stiff felt
–White pom poms
–Multi-color yarn
–Pom pom maker
–Glue gun
–Jute twine
-Scissors
Step 1: Making pom poms! With the pom pom maker it’s really easy to do. Easy pom pom maker steps can be seen here.
Once you have your pom poms built it’s time to attach them to the Jute twine. You need to slip the jute twine in the back side of the pom pom and add a little glue to make it sit into place.
It’s also good to add a little glue to the side of the pom pom as well.
Step 2: Cut some bunny ears out of the stiff felt sheets. Cut a small piece of felt and fold in half.
When you are making the cut make the top part a little bit like you are cutting a heart out.
Step 3: Once you have your ears cut it’s time to glue your ears in place and then add a little cotton ball tale to your pom pom’s behind!
That’s it! Enjoy and hang!
Isn’t it adorable! So cute! You could even just make the bunny’s and glue them onto a wreath for your front door if you don’t need garland.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
