You know I have a soft spot for elephants. I tend to talk about them quite a bit and if you have ever been in my home then you know I have them sprinkled throughout the house. I think it’s a pretty discrete collection, but Jon always laughs when I say that, because he thinks they are everywhere and it’s pretty clear that I’m a crazy elephant lady. Crazy or not I love them and think they are some really pretty home decor finds that feature an elephant and are perfect addictions for your home. Without further adieu here our my favorite elephant home decor finds!
No. 1: Wicker Elephant Hamper:The perfect hamper for a nursery or playroom that I would use for toy storage. I would even use it in the corner of a living room or home office space and leave it as toy storage or fill it with cozy throws.
No. 2: Betty Half Circle Table: I have seen vintage tables like this in the past and have always wanted one, but they are so pricy. This one is a more affordable price point and would work nicely in the entry area of a NYC apartment. It’s pretty in white but can easily be repainted in a pop of color!
No. 3: PBK Elephant Side Table: This piece will stand the test of time. It is hand carved in mango wood and then distressed by hand and finished off with a white wash. It could easily float around from room to room in your home.
No. 4: Iris Apfel Rattan Elephant Console Table: We are still house hunting, but I already know what my first purchase will be once we do! I saw this online and my jaw dropped. I love everything about it. The backside has a nice amount of storage and can be used as a bar. I think I would go to town and add a couple of tassels on the elephants as well. Oh! I want it so!
No. 5: Frazier Elephant Rattan End Table: I have seen vintage versions during many of my antiquing adventures in person and online and they can cost a pretty penny. I was lucky enough to snag one at a thrift store for an amazing price point, but you can’t always be that lucky. Love finding this reproduction that can easily be purchased.
No. 6: Safari Elephant Wall Vase: I love this cute wall vase. It’s a great scale and the perfect addition to a gallery wall. It would even look super cute over a bed all by itself.
No. 7: Ceramic Elephant Stool: I love ceramic stools. The are the perfect scale to put into little nooks where a traditional end table or side table would fit. They can easily move from indoors to outdoors. I think every home should have a least one.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
