Don’t get me wrong I love nothing better than finding an amazing to the trade find that my clients must have, but many times those amazing finds are not in everyone’s budget. Luckily it’s always possible to find reproductions in more affordable price ranges for all. I’m all about amazing quality and love to share what I find and love! Here are some of my favorite best designer looking benches under $250 that I have sourced and used with clients.
No. 1 White modern leather bench: It’s sexy looking and would look amazing at the foot of a bed. Plus it’s 50″ long and only $189! Also available as a set of ottomans.
No. 2 Tufted Acrylic X bench base: Love the upholstery job with the tufting and piping detailing. Also really like the twist on the traditional X bench with the X on the bottom of the bench. Only $226!!!
No. 3 Black wicker X bench: Rattan/wicker can feel very beachy and sometimes dated, but when it’s all black it looks chic and stylish! I can imagine these in a modern country house or home that is trying out the modern farmhouse look.
No. 4 Layla Velvet Ottoman: Amazing job with the upholstery and it’s tufting and piping. Plus the base is amazing and high end glam!
No. 5 Nesting bench and ottomans: Okay, so I don’t love this piece as is, but it has nice lines and is sturdy. Plus at $199 for all 3 pieces it’s totally worth it to show it a little love and perhaps repaint the frames or just updated the upholstery.
No. 6 Velvet X bench: This is glam all the way. Perfect gold base and neutral upholstery job that will work with many color schemes.
No. 7 Brown tufted metal base ottomans: The perfect cognac leather look on the upholstery that again works in the modern farmhouse style, a man den or office space. Plus less than $100!
No. 8 Mid Century bench: Love the retro lines and the pop of color.
No. 9 Chambray and coral piping X bench: Now this won’t work with every style, but at $124 it’s an amazing price point and has amazing detailing that make it look like it’s worth a lot more.
No. 10 Skirted Storage Ottoman: Yellow is an underrated color. I wasn’t always a fan, but in the last couple of years I have really warmed up to it. It’s just a really happy color and so bold! You immediately up your design game when you use it in a space.
No. 11 Velvet Pouf with gold accent: This has a very 80’s vibe to it, but it’s on trend and glam. So, if you want to try it out and see if works for you why not do it with this beauty for only $118.
No. 12 Greek key frame ottoman: Love the base of this piece, but I would reupholster the top by adding a little more stuffing because it’s a little flat and having some fun with a different fabric.
Happy Shopping!
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
