As a decorator I do a lot of sourcing for clients. Yes, a good amount of it is to the trade and not always something people can just order online, but a good chunk of it is always affordable finds from big box retailers. Today I’m rounding up my favorite decor finds for October that everyone can order!
No. 1 I found the work of artist, Sara Bost Fisher. Her abstract pieces are beautiful and full of color and movement, but an original piece is not in everyone’s budget. Enter her wrapping paper! It’s only $5.99 for a 20″ x 29″ piece. Pop it in a frame and no one will question you! A good solution until you can splurge on the real deal.
No. 2 How cute is this greek key shower curtain! Love how wide the pattern is! It would look amazing with a big old monogram in the middle! I would go with a happy orange.
No. 3 Love this canopy bed and it’s less than $200 price point for a queen! It’s a pretty shade of gold and I would probably add fabric to the head and foot board or leave it without fabric and paint it a bright pop of color like this Room & Board bed.
No. 4 Stunning pair of ginger jar lamps! Love the gold accents and there nice scale. Pretty perfect price point as well.
No. 5 Urban Outfitters is always one of my go to sources for rugs. It sounds random, but they usually have a really nice selection at affordable price points. I love these woven rug like this beauty. They have the pattern printed on the rug, which is why the price is more affordable, but it looks so good and they last forever. I have several of them in my own home and they haven’t faded at all. Also they are the perfect weight to use for layering over carpet. Highly recommend.
