Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
I’m always on the lookout for budget-friendly options when it comes to trendy decor. Basket bowls are currently having a big moment in the design world. I see them pop up all the time on rooms in instagram and in magazine spreads. They are pretty, they add color and texture and have a great boho-chic/ […]
Who doesn’t love a blue and white ginger jar! I’m all about the blue and white. It’s an easy item to collect and I tend to find most of mine at thrift stores, but if you are impatient then HomeGoods always has a nice selection of them. They work nicely on a mantle, sprinkled throughout […]
I love custom window treatments! It’s amazing to get to source a designer fabric for a client and then get beautiful panels produced to my specifications. Custom window panels can be get pricey! Typically for one window I will need around 6-7 yards of fabric! That’s a lot of money and we haven’t even talked […]
Shield your eyes, because I’m about to share the horrible before shot of our laundry room yet again! It’s bad, right? Sort of like a run down insane asylum meets a set from any of the Saw movies. I hated it, but never made it a priority, because it was just a laundry room and […]
As I mentioned before our trip to Tulum (currently writing from our beautiful hotel lobby) was very last minute, which meant that the night before our trip I was at Target looking for toiletries, but really it was an excuse to see if they had any cute clothes for the trip. There is still a […]
Christmas was a lovely time and everyone was so generous with the boys. It was great and the boys loved getting all new toys, but I was left with an excess of toys and no idea how to handle the storage. We went thru all of the toys and set aside toys that were broken […]
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
