Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

Before I was a parent I was never a fan of matching outfits in a family. I swore I would never put the boys in matching outfits and then I did it once and it was adorable and loved doing it! It’s a little bit harder now because Hudson is a bigger department, but I’m […]

Matching Family Bathing Suits, Oh My!

The nice part about losing some inches is getting to pick up some  new clothes! As I shared a couple of months ago I took part in Faster Way to Fat Loss  and was able to loose some weight and most importantly inches!!! It’s a program I highly recommend and while I’m currently not as […]

H&M Recent Favorite Finds!

A couple of years ago I started venturing into the clothing area of thrift stores. Normally I only focus on home decor items, but when the tablecloth/linens area is next to clothing you start to wander. I never really have luck with clothing, but I do find gems in the handbag area! It can be […]

Treat Yo Self: Colorful Straw Bags

A couple of years ago I shared a reveal of my sisters apartment. One of her favorite parts of that apartment was the dining room area with this stunning vintage brass and velvet Milo Baughman inspired dining set! Doesn’t it go perfectly with her warrior girl gallery wall! When she moved out of the apartment […]

I use to equate rainbows as something that was just used in children’s clothing and toys, but I have been on a rainbow kick as of late! I keep seeing it pop up in women’s fashion and jewelry and I love how happy it makes me feel! I have been picking up little pieces here […]

Treat Yo Self: Rainbow Everything!

A couple of years ago artist, Lacee Swan emailed me and introduced herself to me and shared her beautiful work with me. I loved her fashion inspired watercolor prints. They worked perfectly with my design style. She has quite an array to pick from, which means you could fill a whole gallery wall with them […]

Custom Portraits by Lacee Swan

-Shockingly I’m feeling bright colors and stripes for winter! I know a lot of winter wear tends to be muted, but let’s pair our white snowy days with happy colors! I was fabric shopping today and loved seeing this color combo together and thought it would look fab as stripes on a sweater! This sweater […]

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
