Time and time again I have clients that forget about their overhead lighting. To them it just doesn’t seem like a must have item to get a designer touch on. Furniture, yes. Paint color, yes, Window treatments, yes. But with lighting many are okay with leaving building grade and I’m telling you that lighting should be a priority. Every time I switch them out in a clients house I’m met with gasps in awww of what a difference it makes. I think budget has a lot to do with wanting to leave builder grade. None of these styles are budget breaking and it’s such an easy project that most home owners could swap them out themselves. I should know. I always make poor Jon swap out lighting and it’s done in 15 mins or less.
