  2. Alexandra Rae says:

Love! Don't we just love the high/low mix. And it always produces the most interesting rooms. Great job Deborah.

  3. Alexandra Rae says:

Going through this again I just have to give another huge shout out to Deborah for having such an eye. I love Home Goods, but you need to know what to grab and what to pass by. She certainly does. I especially like the sunburst mirror as window treatment.

  4. Sonja @ Uberbliss.blogspot.com says:

I LOVE the curtains in the sitting room! Those would look fabulous in my bedroom. I may have to try to make those. I'm leaving for Paris today and sharing all the fun things I'm hoping to find at the flea markets on my blog. Maybe I'll find some curtains there!

  5. Jade @ Flip Flops + Pearls Design says:

  7. Carole Tedesco says:

Having been in Deb's home, I can tell you the photos don't even do it justice. It's so warm and inviting, and while it's beautifully decorated, it doesn't feel "decorated."

  8. SogniSorrisi says:

Love the hermes table, the orange chairs and the rug in the foyer!

Love this! Her house is so homey and inviting. The mix of high and low, patterns and textures are my favorite way to design. I want one of those Hermes tables! Love, love her entryway rug and the zebra rug too. Every room is lovely. Thank you.

  15. Mrs. Chic says:

Such a lovely home, wow – loving it so much 🙂

  16. Kate@TwentySixToLife says:

She has a beautiful home, I love how everything is mixed together so effortlessly and it shows a lot of personality.

  17. Oonafey says:

I love it. I especially love how she took the "manly", huge sectional and made it mesh perfectly with everything else in the room. I have a (much smaller) couch just like it; it's always great to see someone use something familiar in a fresh, fun way!

  18. emily @ emily posts says:

Those curtains in the sitting room are to die for! Where are they from?

  19. domestikatedlife.com says:

That hermes coffee table has long been on my wish list! And the little yellow one is pretty cute too. What a gorgeous home.

  20. stephanie and family says:

This is so inspiring! I've been looking for a DIY ribbon treatment for my new curtains, and this has given me a GREAT idea.
Camilla, do you think she spray-painted those acrylic stacked-ball lamps gold (on the console behind sofa)? I have some I'm kinda over already–this would be awesome if the plastic would take the primer and paint.
    Nice work, Deborah!

  21. Loretta Fontaine says:

Wow! What a lovely home. Deborah, you have such a great sense of style! I love the gorgeous orange coral candle holder in the pool house. The perfect touch!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
