Artist Spotlight: Julia Denos

My favorite part about getting this months copy of Anthology was the front cover:

I was obsessed I loved every bit of it and had to know who has illustrated that gorgeous work. I quickly found out it was done by artist Julia Denos who lucky for us blogs as well.

One of the best parts about reading up on Julia was finding out that she illustrates books and one in particular was calling my name.

Being Audrey:

Here is a peek into some of the pages:

I’m pretty sure I need to buy the book and of course rip out all of the pages and start framing them. How cute would they look in a young ladies room?

P.S. There was a bit of scheduling mishap with this weeks IN HER SHOES featured lady, which means there isn’t going to be one day. Sorry everyone. If you want to catch up on previous featured ladies head here.

I had to order Just Being Audrey when it first came out, and it’s been sitting in my living room ever since. Never mind that it’s a children’s book, and both of my children are boys, I had to have it. Love your idea of framing up the pages. The illustrations are just gorgeous.
