My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
LOVE this combo! I think I want to get married all over again so I can do these colors now 🙂
I know for a fact they are!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE! And Im a neutral, pale blue, gray kinda gal but this color combo makes me smile so much!!
It’s so funny you just posted this color combo — yesterday I decided I’m officially “over” my grey and citron living and desperately need a new scheme! That picture from Eddie Ross’ blog is my new inspiration — I threw together a mood board last night!
Such a fun color combo that I would not have put together but looks stunning in the above pics
Looks fun!
I’m currently obsessed with grey and blue…in all shades. In fact, yesterday I took off my blue nail polish…and I have some grey queued up 🙂
Red and Hot Pink are my signature colors. Bold is Beautiful.
I’m not an orange person, but love this combination, especially with the aqua (whatever that’s called). is this a split complementary color scheme? I works well.
Camila – Like your nail polishes!
I’m thinking of grey-blue paired with cream lately.
Happy Summer!

Really pretty colors, especially together! Love the art wall.
Currently I’m loving a not-neon limey green with orange. It feels so energetic to me. Beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing.
check out the avalon collection at thibautdesigns.com , BEST example of this color collection , so sweet , especially in Florida !!
One of my favorite color palettes too!!! I made a pillow using this palette and accompanying mood board…see it here

It doesn’t always work out as we learned for my daughter’s room. One of my painting mistakes. We painted the ceiling tangerine and the walls a cotton candy pink. We have 12 ft ceilings so it’s a lot easier to claim it as the 5th wall. The room absolutely glows. This is a classic case of where we should have went neutral and accented with the orange and pink. She’s lived with it for a couple of years and really did love it. We currently have a nice light shade of blue waiting to be used in the garage. Love the color combo, but we truly executed it in the worst way!
A fabulous, happy color combination!
