HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

Sorry for the late posting today. We were out interviewing Doctor’s for the little man and just back home. Catch me over at Hello Bee where I’m guesting today about nursery design. I was inspired by this print: {Designed by the oh so talented Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co.} Head on over to check […]

Guest Posting at Hello Bee!

A while back I posted a DIY project on a No Sew Roman Shade: While everyone enjoyed the project I got the most emails/comments over the piece of eye chart artwork to the left of the window. At the time the print was no longer available anywhere, but yesterday while sourcing some artwork for clients […]

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi All, Today I reached 36 weeks! For the past two weeks I’ve been surviving on two pairs of maternity pants and my normal wardrobe. Well my body decided this week that just wasn’t going to be good enough anymore. I literally had to wear a beach cover up yesterday because it was the only […]

Baby Talk: Guest Posts

Industrial chic is a trend that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. I’m a fan of it in small doses for my own space, but do appreciate what it looks like when it is done full blown in a space. If you are looking to add a small dose to your room I think a […]

Look for Less: Bar Cart Table

I’ve had a pretty great pregnancy thus far. No real symptoms to talk about except lack of sleep and of course some weight gain. This weekend though I was hit with complete pregnancy brain. You see I finally had decided to do a maternity shoot and found a wonderful photographer, great location, and the perfect […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
