Baby Talk: Custom Word Cloud artwork

The other day I found this fun website called Tagxedo that lets you make word clouds in a variety of shapes, fonts and colors. It was so much fun to play around it and I decided that little Hudson would love to have one in his nursery. (Nursery hasn’t been revealed yet. It’s almost finished. Please stay tuned.)

Here are just a peek of the ready made shapes available for word clouds:

I of course picked the elephant shaped and added some words that made me think of Hudson. Here is the final product:

I think played around some more and made one for our little family:

It’s really addictive and the best part is it’s free!

To get started on your own pieces of artwork then head over to Tagxedo and click on the create button.

From there it will have you download a program called Silverlight. Once that is done you may have to reboot your computer. Now when you log onto to Tagxedo and click on create the program will be installed and you can have some fun!

After you are done playing around with your piece you can save it or add it to mugs, t-shirts, etc.

The best part? You can also download images under the SHAPE option and make custom word art in a custom shape like a face:

Here is one someone made of Martin Luther King Jr.

Enjoy!

Wordle.net is the less cool edition, but can also be fun without the shapes. Cannot wait to try your idea!!!!
