DIY: Easy & Inexpensive Suzani Pillows

I can’t wait to tackle this easy project. Inspired by my vintage trim find I decided to do a little sourcing and find some unique trim that you could actually purchase.

Take a peek at my new favorite trims! You could easily pick up a solid pillow cover (Only $6!) plus a yard of trim and a little fabric glue and add some trim banding down the middle of it.

1. 20″ x 20″ Linen/Cotton pillow cover plus 2.5″ wide suzani trim ($9 a yard).

2. 20″ x 20″ Linen/Cotton pillow cover plus 1.5″ wide Samarkand suzani trim ($6 a yard)

3. 20″ x 20″ Linen/Cotton pillow cover 1.5″ Bukhara suzani trim ($5 a yard)

All that trim would look amazing lining some drapes or roman shades as well.

  1. Love that idea! Suzani prints still make me smile, and I’m really surprised by the reasonable trim prices. Great finds!
