Effortless Style by Julip Made

*Clearly I was going a bit nutty when I scheduled all of my guest posts for my vacation, because I forgot to schedule one of them! A million apologizes to Julie from Julip Made. *

Julie from Julip Made helps me a feel a bit more like Martha Stewart after reading her blog posts. I may have no problem throwing a room together perfectly, but when it comes to food I’m more of a person that loves to eat than one that knows exactly how to put together a menu. Julie does amazing recipe posts and then shows you how you can design a lovely entertaining space to go with whatever event you may be planning. Perfection.

Here is a peek of her effortless style:

“This tidbit of my home probably best represents me because it illustrates my love of entertaining and making people feel comfortable in my home.  I think there is nothing better than a night in with close friends, good cocktails, and great conversation.  I also love this corner because the paper weight is an equine motif (I’m a total horse girl) and was gifted to me by my late grandfather, reminding me of his generosity as a host and ability to whip up a mean Old Fashioned.  The bar tray itself is DIY, covered in paper I chose from Paper Source.  Lastly, the poster is Toulouse-Lautrec, one of my Post Impressionists known for showcasing the theatrical and provocative side of human nature.”

What a chic station drinks station. I always say that one of the best tips for getting your room to look effortlessly stylish is to just put together all of the things you love and scream you. This is a perfect example.

Thanks Julie!
