A couple of years ago I was hired as a birthday gift for a certain little lady named Julia. Julia was amazing to work with, because unlike my adult clients she knew exactly what she liked/disliked and was ready to make decisions and get her room revamped. I had a wonderful time working with her and since she has designer aspirations I decided to work on some girls bedroom designs with her and showcase our design plans on the blog.
Her finished room:
Right before school started we headed to one of my favorite showrooms, Duralee where I let Julia go wild and pick out all of the samples her heart desired.
Here are some of fabric schemes we came up with:
No. 1: Colorful and playful
No. 2: Global Glam
No. 3: Pretty in Pink updated
No. 4: They call it mellow yellow
No. 5: Black and white and pink all over
No. 6: Through the trees
We used the fabrics as are jumping off points for 6 different girl bedroom design boards. Next week I’ll start sharing what we came up with together!
Happy Weekend!

Wow Julia has a great eye! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

The rooms looks great! What a lucky girl
I’m crazy about the Global Glam fabrics!! What are the names of them? I need to go on a hunt – would be perfect for my living room re-do! All are perfectly beautiful picks!!
I will be sharing the names of everything as we present the different moodboards.
LOVE this idea! How fun! I have two little girls and I always admire the original ways they put pattern together.
How fun! My bday is around the corner…I’d love to unwrap you as my gift! Wait, that sounded all wrong and very vegas-y. But you know what I mean! xo
