Beach Reads

Last week I received an advanced copy of Ladies’ Night by Mary Kay Andrews.

When I heard that the book’s main character was a big time home design blogger I needed to check it out and see how true to life they portrayed the blogger. I must say Mary Kay did a good job. There is way more to the story than the blogging, but it was fun to see how the main character went through a lot of same things we go through as bloggers. The book is a bit on the massive side at over 600 pages, but it goes by real quick. I think I finished it in 4 days and whenever I had a free moment you saw me doing this:

Ladies’ Night comes out today so if you are looking for a fun beach read I totally recommend it. I’m now intrigued to read more of Mary Kay’s work.

you owe it to yourself to read ALL of Mary Kay Andrews books. Hissy Fit was one of the best. I highly recommend Dorothea Benton Frank, who has a new book coming out also…The Last Original Wife, Also good reads are Sherryl Woods….there is an Ocean Breeze series right now…3 books total.
