This weekend was jam packed with activities. Here is a little peek into what we were up to!
Cyber Monday orders have started to arrive and I must say the prettiest box award goes to Henri Bendel! What a pretty brown and white striped shipping box!
We also wrapped up our DIY Christmas gifts posts, which we will be starting to feature this week! Here is a peek at my favorite project!
The cold weather always has me reaching for yarn so I happily picked up some of this amazing neon colored yarn to crochet some scarfs.
We got into the Christmas spirit and put up our tree. We went with a fake tree like last year and decorated with bows, because of Hudson’s wandering hands.
Since I decided to paint my front a bold bright green I couldn’t really go a traditional Christmas route with green and red so we went with a pink and green look instead! Jon is thrilled. 🙂
I also have massive pink glittery bows to go up on all of our windows. Jon is even more thrilled about this. 🙂
Also added a touch of pink to our entry way:
After all of this activity I was happy to treat myself to some hot cocoa and a yummy brownie or two.
Along with a new pair of slippers that barely left my feet this weekend. I almost wore them out to a client meeting on Sunday! Whoops! Thank god I looked down at my feet before I left the house!
Since my client meeting was in the city on Sunday my men decided to come with me and were able to go check out Jon’s sisters new apt! Let’s just say that Hudson made himself at home right away! He had a blast with his Aunt JoJo and even showed her how he does his fake sleeping. He is snoring in this picture, but of course he always forgets to fully close his eyes for a fake sleep.
{Happy to see that Aunt Jenn is still using her 3 panel headboard we made for her a couple of years ago.}
Whew! I’m tired, but happy that we decorated the house a bit and I actually got quite a bit of online shopping done! I’m almost done with my Christmas gifts!
Too funny Camila! I just stopped by your blog and saw the Henri Bendel wrapping. When I said that Julia and I spent time in Bergdorf’s on Sunday I meant to say Henri Bendel’s. The place was an accessories wonderland! Julia could have spent hours in there – I had to drag her out of the store. Hope you got some nice things in the mail from them. – Melissa

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

Love the fabric on her headboard. Could you ask her what she used? Thanks!
