HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

Hello Loves, I wanted to thank all of you for all the kind words of encouragement. I was truly not happy at my job. The work was mind-numbing and there really was no future there. Interior Design is where I want to be. So this now gives me the perfect opportunity to have the luxury […]

Weekend Recap

I’m totally full of doom and gloom these last couple of days, but the cherry on the sundae was just about 30 minutes ago when I got brought into an office, had the door closed and told, “We really don’t want to do this. We love you and really thought you would grow and do […]

Add me to the list…

If you read my blog then you know I have quite the love for bad cheesy movies. I don’t know why but movies from the 80s and early 90s just soothe me when I’m feeling stressed. Lately I feel like I should be in one of my favorite movies, Multiplicity. I swear this week is […]

Blog Love: La Dolce Vita

My darling husband got a bad case of the sniffles during the beginning of the week. Enter Friday morning and I woke up with a sore throat and a congested nose. So instead of getting to spend the weekend out enjoying the wonderful weather that we got this weekend in NY I spent the majority […]

Cabin Fever

Confession time. I’m quite the magazine junkie and during my last trip to Barnes and Noble I actually picked up a copy of TEEN VOGUE. Ok so I’m 27 and no longer in my teens, but the mini size of it along with the great jewelry on the cover and it was an easy sell. […]

A girl after my own heart

Last year there was the huge craze with the, I’m Not a Plastic Bag tote. Fashionista’s everywhere were thrilled to be able to be Green and Stylish at the same time. ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
