My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Oh my, I love that! I’m definitely going to have to attempt something similar!
What! That just looks amazing, and when I read the instruction, it doesn’t sound hard at all.
Totally marked that project as something to do!!! Love it.
I need to do this project! Kori xoxo
What a great way to revive an old rug! I’ve admired the scrollwork welcome mats and never thought to use them for block printing. Ingenious! I can see that working to embellish the bottom of some dropcloth drapes. Thanks for sharing.
What a great idea! Thanks for sharing. Adding this one to my list.
Leah Moss is so incredibly talented. She also has her own blog apart from AT. Here is the url: http://www.mosseclectic.com/
She recently posted an awesome before and after of her hall/kitchen. It’s amazing what paint can do! And I love the rug she did as well…so creative!
Saw that as well…totally brilliant and an idea that could be applied to so many different types of textiles. Love it!
