HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I am a scarf hoarder. My closet is busting with them and I just found another that will be a constant in my wardrobe this winter. It’s leopard print with an emerald green background and I fell in love the second I spotted it. Close up: It’s a nice large size at 39″ x 70.5″ […]

Treat Yo Self: Leopard Scarf

Like any girl I’m a fan of jewelry. It doesn’t have to be expensive, but it does have to be stylish and my jewelry drawer holds pieces from a range of styles and price tags. I add costume pieces pretty regularly into the mix, but investment pieces aren’t really something that happens frequently around here. […]

Ready, Set, Shop!

This week Jon and I celebrated 15 years of being together! Isn’t that crazy?! How have we been together that long. What started out as a friendship because we had lockers near each other in high school has now turned into a marriage of almost 9 years and two sweet adorable boys. The funny thing […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
