Moving along with my January/New Year vibe where I must zhush up and organize every room in the house today I want to talk about bathrooms. We have a teeny tiny full bathroom. Its around 4ft by 9ft! Seriously when all four of us are in it space is really tight and the only way we really fit is if the boys are in the bath! Since it’s a small space I have changed it quite a bit since we moved it. It’s been black, then I got over black and went with a muted blue/green with an eclectic vibe to it then I got over that and left the paint as is, but switched out all of the accessories to go for a more bright and colorful look. I still love having the bright and colorful vibe, but I think it’s time to switch out some bath accessories.
No.1 Even though the bathroom is small I do have two different areas for rugs. I like having a small one by the sink/vanity and I think this colorful rag rug would be perfect in the space plus it’s currently an extra 20% off!
No.2 I love a good tassel and this crisp white shower curtain with tassel trim would work perfectly in the space! I already have a tassel roman shade in there, but heck when is there every too many tassels? Never!
No.3 I love these canisters because they look like glass, but they are acrylic! With my two little guys nothing is safe so acrylic is our friend! I can fill it with cotton balls and q-tips and then colorful bath salts for those baths I rarely get to take.
No.4 We still only have two bath towel hooks in our bathroom and now we are a family of 4! It’s time to remedy that with 4 of these melon hooks from Anthropologie. They are always my go to source for pretty hardware.
No.5 For my shower area I like to place another rug, but here I go with a traditional bath mat in towel material. Love this version available in a vibrant green.
No.6 I received these towels for Christmas and fell in love with them! With so much color in my bathroom I always go with a crisp white towel and not only are these the brightest white, but they are so soft! Seriously I could wrap myself up with up at bedtime. So plush and fluffy and they keep their fluffiness after going through the wash. Heaven! They are also available in grey, spa green, and pale slate blue.
No.7 I lose using storage baskets in the under the sink area. How chic and fun are these? Sign me up! I will take two. You could also pick up a couple plain jane wicker baskets and go to town with DIY pom poms!
Fun, right? Now go take a peek at your bathroom and see if you are in need of any design updates! The littlest details always make the biggest impacts.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
I have been looking FOREVER for a shower curtain and rug for my bathroom.
