We got hit with snowfall yesterday and we are now officially in February, but my mind is on Spring time. I was working on a style plan and it was too good not to share! While the color peach doesn’t always scream out to one as the perfect interior design color I’m currently smitten with it. Look at nicely it pairs with this sky blue that is leaning a bit towards cornflower.
No. 1 My main inspiration was this print by Lulie Wallace. The entire color story was just speaking to me and then everything else came together rather quickly.
No. 2 Lighting is one of my favorite items to source for a room. I especially love when I find a stunning piece at an amazing price point. Isn’t this sputnik chandelier jaw dropping!
No. 3 I would cover the walls in this wallpaper, which is another beauty designed my Lulie Wallace. I love the traditional and country chic vibe to it and the peach colorway updates it and makes it feel fresh yet timeless.
No. 4 Swoon! I don’t think I could love a vase more than this one! I love that it can be personalized in gold script! I like to keep my desk areas clean, but along with that amazing vase some acrylic desk accessories like a tape dispenser and stapler are in order.
No. 5 Did you know that Sugar Paper designed a desk with Target? Well, now you do and it’s amazing! It sold out when it first came out, but they recently produced more due to high demand. Hurry before it disappears for good!
No. 6 Love, love, love the weathered look of this rug that helps tie everything together!
No. 7 Desk chairs are normally nothing to write home about, but I think we can all get behind this beauty with pink leather and gold legs!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
That desk is from Target? Wow. It is gorgeous!
