Ah! This weekend I got to wear shorts, which hasn’t happened in the youngest time! It was 70 degrees and the sun was out! So, I did what an insane person would do and told Jon we needed to go to the beach! We packed up the kids and Hudson’s class pet, Crabby and off we went!

It was the perfect day! Was it a bit colder by the water? Totally, which is why I wore a long sleeve shirt with my shorts.

Did I forget towels and a change of clothes for the boys? Totally! I new it would be colder by the water, so I figured they would play in the sand and not play by the water. Didn’t happen! These two fools drove home naked!

We had a great time and then wrapped up the day with a family game of laser tag! The boys are obsessed! Hudson got a set a couple of years ago and Saturday morning Jon decided we needed in on the action so, we stopped to pick up an additional set on the way to the beach!

The boys really love playing it especially when it starts to get dark and you can see everything light up.

On Sunday the perfect weather was gone and it was back to gray skies and a chill in the air! We were going stir crazy in the house so, we decided to go to the mall. The boys went off to Dicks Sporting Goods with Jon and I went to Nordstrom and did a little try on session!

I have a really hard time finding clothes especially dresses that work for me. I tend to be a 4/6 in bottoms but my top area is a lot bigger! Damn boobs! The grass is always greener I guess. So, when I need to get a dress sometimes a 12 won’t even zip on my boobs and it’s of course big every where else. It all depends on the brand and it’s a lot of trial and error!

I found this dress first and I honestly had zero hope with it. I figured it wouldn’t fit at all and I would be spilling out of it, but I saw that they had an XL so, I decided to give it whirl and it zipped on my boobs!

I loved the ruffled detailing! Totally an A+ dress in my book and it goes up to XXL.

Next up was this beauty! Everything about it screamed Camila and I’m happy to report that it fit! This dress runs really big! I actually ended up in a small.

This pink dress is by Felicity & Coco and it’s called Bardot. It’s not available online, but there are other pretty options in their collection. I loved the color, neck line and tie detailing plus it was super comfortable!

This dress was a more casual option and I really liked it for a dress when I’m running around with the boys. Add a pair of cute sneakers or Birkenstocks and you are ready to go! I tried it on in this olive color, but I really wanted it in the blue and white version. The brand runs large. I’m in a medium.

If you hate wearing pants and only like leggings then this brand is for you! It’s called Wit & Wisdom and all of their pants/jeans has a full on elastic band on the inside. From the outside they look like totally normal pants/jeans with the right seams, button, zipper, etc. I was apprehensive at first, but they fit really nicely and didn’t start falling off. I tried on a 6 here, but I’m going to back and try on a 4 and see what the fits. I think it would probably work better for me.

Loved this ruffle seersucker top! It was perfect for Spring/Summer and had the prettiest colors. This brand runs big. I’m in a medium, but would probably fit in a small.
