HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

The main bathroom in our house is teeny tiny. It’s only a 4 ft by 9ft space and while I wish it was larger it’s small size does make it easy to re-vamp it on a whim. Years ago I hopped on the black walls trend and painted it black. I loved it, but then […]

Bathroom Re-vamp Reveal

Last week I got an amazing email from my favorite people at Black Crow Studios letting me know that they were collaborating with photographer Gray Malin of Maison Gray. Gray’s work is most well known for his beautiful aerial shots with his beach series being one of my favorites. I was happy to see that […]

Adding personality to a builder grade bathroom

Hudson and I started classes this past January. One of the classes has a snack time, which means Hudson gets to wash his hands before we eat. He is now obsessed with washing his hands at the sink and loves using our new Method hand soap. Yesterday I was staring at the pattern on the […]

Cheery Child’s Bathroom

Last week I asked you all for advice on my black walls. I totally thought everyone was going to be on my side and tell me to get rid of the black. I was already envisioning sticking my tongue out at Jon saying I told you so while applying a fresh coat of paint on […]

Black Bathroom Update!

When we first moved into our house our downstairs bathroom was just okay. There was nothing wrong it. It had a white vanity, white toilet, drop ceiling, neutral paint color, it was pretty much a snooze with no character! So, little by little we started giving it a little something, something and I’m happy to […]

Reveal: Downstairs Bathroom

Since we’ve already gone over a bedroom,dining/living area combo and a kitchen revamp I thought it was fitting to go with a bathroom today that won’t break the bank on the official day that all the Domino’s fell (a tear). Chase Booth’s {Domino Set Producer} Bathroom: I think this bathroom has so many great bones […]

MINT-KITCHEN-CABINET-MOODBOARD

Like I have said in the past doing a gut reno, especially during a pandemic is not for the faint of heart. We were lucky enough to be able to move in with my parents and when the hits kept coming with delays, we were okay and had someplace to stay. The last time I […]

From House to Home: The Kitchen Renovation Plan

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
