I’m always one for being fashionable late, but I must say I’m sorry it took me so long to get to this party.
The party I’m referring to is Pinterest. The other day while working ok so it was more like delaying work I finally decided to do something with the account that I set up months ago. I kept getting emails that people were following my boards and I started to feel really guilty that my boards were empty.
For those of you that are late to the party like I was let me explain some more. Pinterest is a virtual inspiration board. Once you upload the pin it button to your bookmark tab you can just click it when you find an image you love and pin it on your different boards. It will then post it on your board and credit the source where it came from. Love this! You’ll never forget where you found an image and with the different boards you can separate things by color, style or even clients!
Plus you can search for items you are looking for like chevron and then all of the images tagged as chevron will pop up! Voila instant inspiration.

I LOVELOVELOVE pinterest! I’ve only been using it now for a few weeks but it’s a great inspiration source.

I too have had an account for months and have yet to do anything with it. I love your simple explanation of how it works because obviously now I’m going to start using it immediately! I love it too…but it drags and slows down my computer. Never the less, I love it and continue to use it! Hopefully they’ll just work out the bugs!

Pinterest (just one word) DOES look pretty cool, but I have Tumblr already. I think I may just take the plunge and get Pinterest now too. LOL. Maybe I could just spend a day or two transferring all my images.

This is genius! I was trying to post on an item today that I had saved on my computer and had absolutely no idea where I had found it. Thank you for this (as I am obviously late to the party too!).
Thank you for letting us know about pinterest.com! I am always loosing track of fantastic photos that inspire me in one way or the other. I just requested an invitation to join.
