  6. Arielle says:

Gorgeous. I’ve been thinking of ikat fabric for a pair of chairs flanking my entry, but I think that Batik is my new front runner. Thanks for the resource!

  7. ohhhhh… that wallpaper kills me!!! don’t they make wallpaper you can paint/draw/whatever you want on?? that might be my best option for this. i don’t think the scale of the batik will do it for me… but they do have that watercolor marbleized thing going on that i love so much!!

  8. Anne-Marie says:

so I was over there yesterday drooling over those walls! and grooving, they have a great bit of music on that site, no?!!

  9. ooooo I am enamored. I would love to get some big canvases and have an artsy friend take some water colors to it to hang on my walls. It would be sort of similar right?

  10. I love the watery appearance of the wallpaper and fabrics. My husband would veto this one, too. He would be okay with fabric on canvas as art. May have to try this one out.

  11. Melissa says:

May have to steal this idea when I get tired of the “wallpaper” I painted in my hallway…

  12. Derek says:

  13. Linda says:

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
