We had a weekend full of rain and gloomy weather one day and then a beautiful Sunday.
Saturday I got the rare opportunity to stay in and catch up on some reading:
Plus watch some episodes of Sarah’s House and got to see how this favorite bedroom of mine got bought to life:

Because of the rain we stayed inside the majority of the day and Hudson did a lot of this:

He also tried an Oreo and as you can see he really enjoyed it:
Sunday we enjoyed the beautiful weather and went out with all of the grandparents to get some ice cream. At home we worked on a custom painting for Hudson’s room:
{It still needs a bunch more layers, but at least we have a base. Can’t wait to add some pops of magenta, peacock blue and citron.}

We ended our Sunday with a quick trip to IKEA to check out a pillow I’ve had my eye on.
{Best $10 I’ve spent in a long time. The pattern is great and they are made out of a sturdy material. It likes it will last for a long time.}
All in all it was a great weekend! What were you up to?

I also watched the Sarah’s House marathon this weekend. I love the design of the master bedroom but thought the floor plan was kind of weird, with so much open space when you first walked in and the chairs tucked by the bed. Love those Ikea pillows – I’m thinking of getting one myself.

I watched the Sarah’s House Marathon too. I loved how the master bedroom came out, but thought the headboard got a little lost against the wall. The whole house was amazing!

Sarah is one of the best…and Hudson is one of the cutest! Who knew a single Oreo could make one little boy so messy!
Your zebra stairs are the cutest things ever (and Hudson, of course)!! I would love to do that someday when we live in a house with stairs!!!
