About 3 years ago I helped my youngest sister decorate her first apartment on the Upper East Side. It was one of my favorite spaces to work on because I got to be super creative working with a teeny tiny budget of around $300. After my youngest sister went abroad to London my middle sister moved into her apartment and the design lived on. Sadly come the end of March she is moving out and I won’t get to glimpse into one of my favorite projects any longer.
One of the pieces that I will miss the most is the massive vintage ginger jar artwork prints above the sofa. They were a thrift store find that had a bit of water damage on the paper so I simply cut out the ginger jars and placed them over orange craft paper.
Easy fix and the orange background updated the vintage find.

In searching for some ginger jars to fill the void of my vintage finds I was so pleased to find, The Pink Pagoda.
Here are some of my favorites:

I’m smitten with everything The Pink Pagoda has to offer. They have so much picks in the blue to white ginger jar, but they also have some more colorful options.
How do you feel about ginger jars? I just realized I tend to sneak one or two into most of my times. I love the traditional twist they offer in a room.

I love Jennifer and her store. I have two of her prints in my living room and they are some of my favorite pieces.
I have one of Jennifer’s pieces in my living room. I love ginger jars – but I don’t actually have a real one in my house yet. Since I am a cheapskate, I am waiting until I stumble across one for a great price!
I’m so inspired by your work on such a tight budget! Love the ginger jar artwork. I want a ginger jar AND a picture of a ginger jar.
I love The Pink Pagoda and agree her prints really add a fun twist to a room! Great job on that budget by the way!
So what is happening to everything in the apt? Where did you get those drapes?
Oh my goodness, thank you SO MUCH for featuring my prints! I’m so flattered!! I love what you did in your sister’s apartment. How brilliant to cut out the jars and reuse the beautiful images!
I have lot of Art on Jennifer’s pieces in my home. Love that graceful art collection. Really sweet. jackson tn furniture
