HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

During my trip at market we were all discussing how difficult it was to find a stylish floor lamp. You can only imagine how happy I was to find my latest find: You get the set (floor & table lamp) for only $29.98. I can already picture it working with a variety of design styles. […]

Budget Friendly Modern Floor Lamp

Yesterday I dedicated most of my day to hit some of the thrift stores that are a bit further out on the island. Due to the long distance I only go every 2 or 3 months. Well I was disappointed at every stop except my 2nd to last one. The second I started approaching the […]

One of my most recent e-decorating clients had just finished upgrading her kitchen cabinets, but wasn’t sure what to do with the dining nook area that was in her kitchen. I decide to go in the direction of her new dark cabinets and add a little bit of moody color and glam with this style […]

Style Plan: Dining Nook

We have all seen the Maskros light by IKEA used in many rooms. I have always seen them in their natural white state and was so surprised to spy it in a showroom all blinged out: Amazing. So simply. I love to paint everything over, but never thought to paint this lighting piece. I love […]

Weekend Recap: Office Chair found!

Hi Loves, I’m working on another article for HGTV (yay) and this time I need to write about how one goes about using contrasting colors in decorating. I have most of my copy written, but I need images and that’s where you all come in. Contrasting colors is when you used colors that are opposite […]

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
