Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

Can you believe it! Our Choose Your Own Adventure blogging challenge is coming to an end! In three short weeks we picked a space, came up with a design plan and then got to work installing it all! Let me tell you, all of the ladies taking part in this group have a group message going […]
A couple of weeks ago Jewel from Jeweled Interiors reached out to me and a couple other bloggers to share an idea she had. She wanted to put together a blogger challenge where we would get to choose our own adventure and refresh a space with our colorful flair! You know I love color so, […]
In the design world trends can come and go rather quickly. When I first saw beaded chandeliers I thought it would be something that would fade after a handful of years. I have seen them around for almost 10 years now, but I’m still not tired of them. Even though they are not traditional in […]
I thought this project was lost, because I couldn’t find the photos for the longest time, but I found them a couple of weeks ago and was so excited to share this easy project that will take your plug in sconce and elevate it to looking hardwired by hiding the wire. This how-to can be […]
Since I’m currently without home a.k.a. crashing at my parents house while we house hunt I have zero need for this 4 tiered pendant chandelier in my personal home. However that does not stop me from drooling over it whenever I see it. I first set my eyes on it this summer at the One […]
Time and time again I have clients that forget about their overhead lighting. To them it just doesn’t seem like a must have item to get a designer touch on. Furniture, yes. Paint color, yes, Window treatments, yes. But with lighting many are okay with leaving building grade and I’m telling you that lighting should […]
For these past couple of weeks I have been working on a handful of nursery designs. I have one little boy thrown in the mix, but the rest are all girls! So, I have been on the hunt for perfectly feminine sconces for lovely little ladies. Here are my favorites that I’m currently obsessed with: […]
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
