Pink has always been a go to color for me. I love it barely there or bold and bright. I have gotten away with injecting quite a bit of pink in our home even though I live with a bunch of men! Luckily for me, Jon is always open to pink and the boys are […]

Pretty in Pink: Turkish Rug Edition

I think every room should have at least one vintage piece in it. One of my favorite ways to inject a piece with history into a space is a stunning vintage Kilim, Turkish or Oushak rug. I know there are a lot of reproductions out there that give you a similar look at great price […]

There is nothing in this world that a little vintage find can’t help, right? I need to clear my head and think happy pretty thoughts and this new find is just that. I found etsy shop Lavender Sky Blue a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been dying to share it with you. They have […]

Treat Yo Self: Vintage Oushak Rugs

Normally I’m use to seeing Jeff Lewis and Bravo together, but yesterday I found Jeff’s name elsewhere. Looks like Jeff Lewis is now making rugs and they are available at Home Depot! While many enjoy watching his show for his witty banter the underlining theme that always keeps us watching is his breathtaking interiors. He […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
