Summer is in full swing and I have been enjoying every bit of sunshine. We are lucky enough to have a nice sized yard with a deck that has a dining area along with a seating area. With the nice weather we have been having dinner outdoors most nights. It’s still so bright out so, it’s nice to eat outdoors and then the boys can run off some energy afterwards. With people dining outdoors so much and hosting BBQ’s I came up with a super easy project to make diy pom pom placemats!
Here is what you will need:
Then simply pick out your pom poms and have a little fun with the glue gun.
Once the glue is added to the pom pom work fast and just press it on the placemat and make sure that part of the pom pom touches the front and back of placemat so, it’s firmly adhere.
It will only take a couple of seconds to dry and then you are ready to go. In order to get the spacing worked out I made an X with the pom poms and did those 4 first and then I kept taking the space between the pom poms and cutting it in half.
Aren’t they so cute? It literally took a couple of mins and I already used them for dining time. The boys also think they are a pretty great shields. Ah, boys.
Having a get together this weekend? It’s not to late to run out and pick up some supplies and make a set for yourself!
